Introduction to your Sewing Machine
This class is designed for complete beginners or those who need a refresher on the basics of sewing.
Learning Outcomes:
The tutor will walk you through the anatomy of a sewing machine, how to correctly thread the machine and troubleshoot common problems, followed by an introduction to different types of seams, darts, and various sewing techniques.
Class Duration:
This is a 2-hour one-off class, hosted once a month on Monday evenings (7pm-9pm).

Unit 6, Seatown Business Campus, Greenfields, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 FA02
What to bring:
Students will be provided with a sewing machine for the lesson but are also welcome to bring their own. No other materials are required for this class.

Beginner Reversible Bag Workshop
This class is designed for those who have recently learned how to sew and would like to expand their knowledge with a simple yet impressive sewing project.
Please note students are required to already have some previous sewing experience or to have completed our Introduction to your Sewing Machine class prior to booking this workshop.
Learning Outcomes:
The tutor will explain pattern symbols and guide you through how to correctly cut your fabric before starting to sew your bag together. Sewing techniques covered:
● Seams
● Pressing
● Bias Binding
● Interfacing
Class Duration:
This is a 3-hour workshop hosted once a month on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-9pm.

Students will be provided with a sewing machine for the class but are also welcome to bring their own.

This class is designed for those who are ready to take the next step in their sewing journey and make one fully finished garment from the list below.
● Tiered Skirt
● Waistcoat
● Wrap Skirt
● Summer Wrap Dress
● Kimono
● Palazzo Pants
● Butterfly Blouse
Please note students are required to already have some previous sewing experience or to have completed our Introduction to your Sewing Machine class prior to booking this workshop.
Learning Outcomes:
The tutor will explain pattern symbols and guide you through how to correctly cut your fabric before starting to sew your garment together.
Depending on the garment you choose, you will learn sewing techniques such as gathering, inserting elastic, using bias binding, adding pockets, hemming, and various types of finishings and fastenings.
Class Duration:
This is a 6-hour workshop completed over the course of 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the date of booking. See below:
x3 consecutive Wednesday evenings (7pm-9pm)
OR
x2 consecutive Saturdays (9:30am-12:30pm or 1:15pm-16:15pm)
